Murcia Citrus Tour Various Tuesdays

Join us for a new trip out into the Murcia and Valle de Ricote Orchard. This tour takes us in into the fragrant citrus fields to see and learn more about this produce. 

We start in Ulea in the Valle de Ricote where we meet our english speaking guide and who takes us through the orchards, seeing and learning about the cultivation of our favourite citrus fruits.  We go to spectacular viewpoints and then head to a local restaurant for a taster of some local products including home made bread, citrus marmelades, cured meats and a locally made dessert called Paparajote ... but before you try this dessert make sure someone has taught you how to eat it correctly as there´s a trick to it !!!

After our brunch stop we head over to the town of Ojos for a walk through the citrus fields and to a small local chapel. 

We finish our citrus tour approx 2pm and then head over into Murcia for a few hours for you to relax, have a stroll around the city and have some lunch or tapas ( lunch not included in the cost of the tour ).
