10 day Christmas and New Year tour to Costa Brava 24th Dec - 2nd Jan 2026 / 2027

Owing to the popularity of our Costa Brava tour we are pleased to be able to offer this spectacular hotel and destination for Christmas & New Year.

On this tour our base is in the coastal resort of Tossa de Mar.  Staying at the superb Golden Bahia Hotel on a full board basis this hotel is located just 800m from the beach and has 3, yes 3 outdoor pools, 1 indoor heated pool, a large sun terrace and gardens, buffet style restaurant, snack bar, free wifi, bar, lounge, daily and evening entertainment and a spa ( there is an extra charge to use the spa facilities ). 

Our tour takes in France aswell as the Costa Brava with new excursions. 

We visit the small yet enchanting village of Collioure in France. We visit on a Wednesday to coincide with the weekly food market and you really get chance to taste and purchase delicious local made products both hot and cold and also the French wine mmmm. Collioure is home to military forts, a delightful bay with shops, museums, art galleries and more. It really is a beautiful place to visit and we never tire of taking our customers there, at Christmas time we can only imagine how much more magical it really is. 

We take you to the popular tourist resort of Lloret de mar for the day so you can browse the shops, wander along the prom and enjoy a day out. 

Our trip offers us a visit to medieval Costa Brava as we take you to the prettiest medieval village in the area of Pals.  Pals is steeped in history but also surrounded by numerous rice fields. Optional tour available onboard the local Pals tourist train ( payable locally ) to take you around the village. 

Our next excursion take us to the pretty French city of Perpignan. As you stroll through the city, you will come across many historical attractions and stunning architecture. You will be able to sample delicious French and Catalan treats like turrón or crema Catalana, explore boutiques &  gift shops, and enjoy the views along the River Basse. The local christmas market will also be something for you to enjoy. 

The itinerary for this trip is as follows:

Day 1 ( 24th Dec ):  Travel to our hotel in Tossa de Mar with comfort stops en route. 

Day 2 ( 25th Dec ): Christmas day free to relax and enjoy a traditional turkey dinner at lunchtime.  

Day 3 ( 26th Dec ): Excursion to the enchanting french city of Perpignan

Day 4 ( 27th Dec ): Free day 

Day 5 ( 28th Dec ): Excursion to Lloret de Mar 

Day 6 ( 29th Dec ): Free day 

Day 7 ( 30th Dec ): Excursion to the pretty french village of Collioure

Day 8 ( 31st Dec ): half day excursion to the medieval village of Pals. New Years gala special in the evening with free bar after the meal and music until 3.30am !!

Day 9 ( 1st Jan ): Free Day 

Day 10 ( 2nd Jan ): Return travel. We set off after breakfast for our return with comfort stops en route.
