4 day Cordoba Patio Fair 7th - 10th May 2024

We bring to you a city break to the enchanting city of Cordoba.

Staying in a world heritage site, enjoy the historic sites of the city at your leisure and wander out at night to sample the ambience and food of the city. If your feet won´t let you after all that sightseeing, then the hotel offers Menu del Dia & Menu del Noche at reasonable prices or you can get out to one of Cordobas restaurants offering international cuisine aswell as tasty local dishes such as salmorejo and flamenquin. This is a do as you please excursion, with time to visit the delights of Cordoba, the world famous Mezquita a building like no other, the Alcazar where they recently filmed Game of Thrones, eat in one of the delightful restaurants or treat yourself to a visit to the Roman baths.  You will enjoy the city of Cordoba so much you will want to visit again and again.  Arriving mid afternoon on day 1 and leaving mid day on day 3 this visit is just enough to give you a taster for more.

This  trip also takes in the wonder that is the Patio Fair in Cordoba. These stunning courtyards that are usually behind closed doors are open to the public. Owing to a hot, dry climate in central Cordoba most homes ( dating back to Roman times ) were built with a small courtyard or patio with a  refreshing fountain feature in the middle to keep both the people and their homes cooler.  These patios are usually hidden behind closed gates but in May each year the doors are opened and you are invited by the homeowner in to see these pretty patios and their stunning flower displays which adorn the walls.

Pick up times are generally between 8.00am/9.00am returning between 7.00pm/8.00pm but these will be confirmed approx 1 week before the trip with an itinerary included
