Archena Spa Baths

Archena´s spa resort boasts having been Spain's most popular thermal centre at the end of the 19th century; it continues to be a renowned complex to this day. It is set in the fertile Ricote Valley, an area of countryside irrigated by the Segura River, with interesting contrasts of landscape: palm groves, orange and a variety of fruit trees which are flanked by arid-looking mountains. The result is a unique, peaceful setting that is ideal for rest and relaxation

The Spa baths are made up of:

• Termalium Pools: an area with two large and mod­ern thermal pools (in­door and out­door) with a vari­ety of fa­cil­it­ies in­clud­ing dif­fer­ent types of wa­ter cur­rents, wa­ter­falls, jac­uzzis and wa­ter beds.

Within the fa­cil­it­ies, there is a chil­dren’s pool, where the little ones can en­joy them­selves, as well as a ter­race, garden area, chan­ging rooms, a few nice shops and a cafe and res­taur­ant.

If you wish to you can take advantage of the advanced facilities on offer in the Balnea Termalium also. This is an extra supplement  and can be booked directly with the spa when you arrive. 

• Bal­nea Termalium: a lux­ury thermal spa area where you can find saunas at dif­fer­ent tem­per­at­ures and re­l­at­ive hu­mid­ity levels, mas­sage rooms, a cross cur­rent pool, warm ham­mocks, float­a­tion pool (salt wa­ter), nat­ural es­sences pool, ig­loo, walk­ing cor­ridors, thermal-con­trast cir­cuit and other fa­cil­it­ies.

There is a cafeteria/bar restaurant for clients to purchase food at lunch-time.

Arriving at the Spa at 11.00am, leaving at 4.00pm this is the perfect way to end the week.
