Fundem owns a show garden in Pedreguer, Alicante: the Jardín Mediterráneo de l’Albarda, created in 1990. With an area of 50.000 m2, it has more than 700 species of indigenous plants, some of them endemic. It is a garden which shows the great diversity of our flora, and stands out for its beauty in every season of the year. There are always plants in flower and the colours and smells that nature gives will delight the visitor. A fully guided tour of the gardens is included in the price of the trip.

In addition to it´s great botanical diversity there is also a formal garden and a wild garden; recreating the image of the old, Valencian Renaissance gardens which are influenced by Arab culture. As it is a Renaissance garden the architectural aspects are of great importance. You will observe walks, pergolas, temples and fountains of great beauty that will transport your imagination to past times.

All that outdoors air should build up an appetite for s stunning, carvery lunch at The Black Flame restaurant Pedreguer (previously Monroe´s) followed by desserts to die for and all washed down with wine included!

Then onto Benidoleig for a relaxing stop for coffee or the chance to visit the caves (optional)

The caves are in a magnificent location, located in the north of the province of Alicante within the region of Marina Alta. Benidoleig is the Cave of the Skulls. Time will stop on the journey to the past in the caves. Marvel at this wonder of nature and the thoughts of the men that lived before and their struggle for a better life.

Pick up times are generally between 8.00am/9.00am returning between 7.00pm/8.00pm but these will be confirmed the day before travel.
