What an amazing tour this really is. The Costa Brava has some absolute treasures and we are pleased to be able to offer this tour.  to coincide with the spectacular Flower Festival in Gerona City. 

The Temps de Flor festival, held every may in Gerona City is an incredible display of art and Flowers.  Each flower display is lovingly made into unique designs such as an artists palette, chessboard, insects and other animals or just a simply breath-taking arrangement.  The Arab baths is always one of the highlights for most people. It really is hard to describe how amazing this festival really is. 

The city of Gerona is highly underrated and is full of architectural gems around every street corner. The old quarter is surrounded by the old city walls ( which you can walk along for amazing views across Gerona ) and has a stunning cathedral, a maze of narrow winding streets and a large commercial street full of street lined cafes and restaurants. The view of the multicoloured houses from one of the many bridges just cannot be missed. 

Our tour not only takes in Gerona and the Flower Festival but also other gems of the Costa Brava and even a trip over to France. 

We visit the small yet enchanting village of Collioure in France. We visit on a Wednesday to coincide with the weekly food market and you really get chance to taste and purchase delicious local made products both hot and cold and also the French wine mmmm. Collioure is home to military forts, a delightful bay with shops, museums, art galleries and more. It really is a beautiful place to visit and we never tire of taking our customers there. On our way back we stop also in the incredible village of Cadaques. After a drive through the dunes, feeling that you are driving to nowhere the most picturesque white-washed village appears before you. Cadaques was home to Salvador Dali and his home can still be visited.  If you opt for a trip round the bay on one of the tourist boats or a ride on the tourist train then you really will get a feel for the beauty of the are and the village. 

Our trip offers us a visit to medieval Costa Brava as we take you to the prettiest medieval village in the area of Pals.  Pals is steeped in history but also surrounded by numerous rice fields. Optional tour available onboard the local Pals tourist train ( payable locally )  we have a visit through the rice fields and Pals on the tourist train with a stop to learn about the harvesting of the rice in the area and even a little sample of some rice based beer !!!!

On this tour our base is in the seaside resort of Tossa de Mar.  Staying at the superb Golden Bahia Hotel on a half board basis this hotel is located just 800m from the beach and has 3, yes 3 outdoor pools, a large sun terrace and gardens, buffet style restaurant, snack bar, free wifi, bar, lounge and a spa ( there is an extra charge to use the spa facilities ).
