Why not spend a day in Benidorm for the busy and lively St Patricks Day celebrations. There will be plenty going on  in the streets and also in the local bars. As this is a do as you please day you can take in as much or as little of the St Patrick celebrations as you wish !!!!

A day out to the Costa Blanca tourist capital of Benidorm. This is a do as you please day.

Benidorm is split into 3 distinct areas.

Levante / New Town. Benidorm new town is where you will find most of the action, in the form of the bustling market ( Wednesdays and Sundays ), numerous bars, entertainment venues, shops and restaurants you are spoilt for choice.

Old Town / Casco Antiguo.  This is our personal favourite area of Benidorm. With its quaint narrow streets, meandering up to the stunning blue-domed San Jaime Catholic church in the Castle Square you can enjoy the amazingly beautiful views from the square and Benidorm's famous viewpoint. The view point juts out into the sea and you can really appreciate how lovely Benidorm looks from there as you get full views across the whole town. The Castle square is also where you can learn about some of Benidorm history. We don't always associate Benidorm with history but you can see the recently excavated partial ruins of its castle in this square and imagine what it was like when Benidorm was just a quiet area with a small castle perched on top of the hill.

The old town is well known for its Tapas Alley. As the name suggests this is where you can find many a tapas bar, offering you all the local culinary delights. As well as tapas alley you can find dotted around the old town an array of street lined cafes, boutiques and intimate bars and restaurants.

Poniente.  This is the often over-looked area of Benidorm as it is home to alot of Benidorms residents but it has a lovely long stretch of sandy beach, recently renovated promenade and numerous restaurants to choose from as well as Benidorms large indoor shopping centre.
