5 day Lavender, Wine & Villages tour 27th - 31st July 2026

This is a simply beautiful trip in the summertime just when the aromatic lavender fields are in full bloom. 

Our tour takes us to Madrid and our hotel is located centrally to the city. 

Our tour takes you on 1 day on an excursion to the pretty village of Brihuega and the stunning lavender fields in bloom. We take a guided tour ( with local guide ) through the fields, We will begin the visit to the lavender field discovering all the secrets of this aromatic plant so characteristic of this area of ​​the province of Guadalajara. The guide will reveal to us all the necessary conditions that lavender needs and the care it receives throughout the year to flower.

We will also review the importance of lavender in Brihuega and you will be able to take lots of beautiful photographs while we walk through the purple fields. It will be truly magical! Once we finish the visit we will be lucky enough to visit a lavender distillery. There, we will learn about the process of extracting essential oil from lavender harvested that day. The smell of flowers will completely intoxicate you! Finally, we will give you a gift made with lavender, one of the best souvenirs you could take home from Brihuega.

This tour also gives you 2 free days to explore Madrid at its best. During the summer months the city can be much quieter as the locals go on their holidays so take advantage and visit all the wonderful monuments, take in a theatre show, hit the shops, take a stroll around the Retiro gardens , museums and much more. 

On our last day we also offer you a glimpse into Royal life with a stop at Aranjuez at one of the main Royal residences. With free time to go in and explore the palace or just enjoy the gardens this will really round off your trip.
