Benidorm Day Trip - Monday
- Availability: Available Now
A day out to the Costa Blanca tourist capital of Benidorm. This is a do as you please day. The town has sprung back to life again now and with most bars, shops and restaurants trading again this adds to the atmosphere of Benidorm that we know and love.
There really is something for everyone in Benidorm. Whether its the thrills and spills of the theme parks, shopping in the many boutiques in the town, people watching with a cool glass of sangria along the promenade, having a dip in the cool Mediterranean waters or enjoying some tapas in the old town I am sure you will find something !!
Benidorm is split into 3 distinct areas.
Levante / New Town. Benidorm new town is where you will find most of the action, in the form of the bustling market ( Wednesdays and Sundays ), numerous bars, entertainment venues, shops and restaurants you are spoilt for choice.
Old Town / Casco Antiguo. This is our personal favourite area of Benidorm. With its quaint narrow streets, meandering up to the stunning blue-domed San Jaime Catholic church in the Castle Square you can enjoy the amazingly beautiful views from the square and Benidorm's famous viewpoint. The view point juts out into the sea and you can really appreciate how lovely Benidorm looks from there as you get full views across the whole town. The Castle square is also where you can learn about some of Benidorm history. We don't always associate Benidorm with history but you can see the recently excavated partial ruins of its castle in this square and imagine what it was like when Benidorm was just a quiet area with a small castle perched on top of the hill.
The old town is well known for its Tapas Alley. As the name suggests this is where you can find many a tapas bar, offering you all the local culinary delights. As well as tapas alley you can find dotted around the old town an array of street lined cafes, boutiques and intimate bars and restaurants.
Poniente. This is the often over-looked area of Benidorm as it is home to alot of Benidorms residents but it has a lovely long stretch of sandy beach, recently renovated promenade and numerous restaurants to choose from as well as Benidorms large indoor shopping centre.
We arrive to Benidorm approx 10:30am ( always dependant on traffic ) at the Avenida Europa Bus Terminal and collect you from the same pick up point at 17:00 / 17:30 ( depending on the season ).
Please note that the Wednesday trip may make a quick drop off in Alicante before continuing on to Benidorm. This does not add too much time onto our journey and is just a quick drop off.
The best value day trip around so why not join us for a fun day our in Benidorm !!!
