Santa Pola day trip with optional Tabarca Island - Wednesdays

Enjoy a wonderful day out to the nearby coastal town of Santa Pola. Often overlooked owing to its proximity to Torrevieja however is a really great place to spend the day. You can explore the local area, harbour, castle, shops and so much more. 

You can really make the day special by taking an optional trip over to the wonder that is Tabarca Island. The smallest permanently inhabited island in Spain has lots to offer its visitors. You can take the fast boat or the more leisurely glass bottomed boat.  Originally a pirate refuge, it was fortified in the 18th century by Charles III. Today, the car-free island is a protected marine reserve famous for crystal-clear waters, historic buildings, and its fresh seafood restaurants. There is a quaint village within the fortified walls which you can visit but take your swimwear as the clear waters will entice you into wanting a dip. 

we can include tickets for you to the island ( its your choice when you arrive to the harbour which boat type you choose and the times. Just keep an eye on the return boat times as they can get busy ). Your Tabarca ticket is an open return ticket

The additional cost is 9€ for adults ( 9+ yrs old ) and 8€ for children ( aged 4-8 years old ) 3yrs  or under do not need to pay for a ticket but you must tell us in comments so a seat is reserved for them on the coach
