These terms & conditions clearly state the responsibilities which Coachtrips SL have to you and which you in turn have to us. Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as by booking a tour you agree to accept them.



Booking your day trip, overnight tour or cruise

·         All our day trips, overnight tours and cruises can be booked via the online booking system, in person at our Torrevieja based office or via our office booking line +34 966 785 910.

  • All day trips must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  • All our overnight tours booked more than 8 weeks before travel will require a non-refundable deposit of 50€ per person, unless the tour involves concert / special event tickets in which case the deposit required will be 100€ per person with the remaining balance due 8 weeks before travel. Overnight tours booked within 8 weeks of the date of travel will require full payment at the time of booking.
  • All cruise bookings booked outside of 16 weeks before travel will require a 200€ per person nonrefundable deposit with the final balance due 16 weeks before travel. All cruises booked within 16 weeks of the date of travel will be required to pay in full at the time of booking.
  • Once payment has been accepted you will receive an automatic booking confirmation email. Approx 2-3 days before travel you will receive further communication from us  regarding your pick up time and any other important information and / or an itinerary for the trip.

 


Cancellation Policy

·         Day trips cancelled which do not include concert or special event tickets with MORE than 2 days notice of the date of travel will be refunded in full or a credit note can be applied to your account with us for use on a future booking ( to be used within 1 year of the original date of travel ) . Cancellations 2 days or less of the date of travel will not be entitled to a refund.

·         Any overnight tour cancelled; the following rules will apply:

 

Cancellations 8 weeks or more before date of travel

Full loss of deposit paid

Cancellations 8 to 4 weeks before date of travel

Full loss of deposit paid PLUS 50% of remaining balance

Cancellations 4 to 2 weeks before date of travel

Full loss of deposit paid PLUS 75% of the remaining balance

Cancellations 2 weeks or less before date of travel

Full loss of all monies paid

 

·         Any cruise cancelled; the following rules will apply:

 

Cancellations 16 weeks or more before date of travel

Full loss of deposit paid

Cancellations 16 to 12 weeks before date of travel

Full loss of deposit paid PLUS 25% of remaining balance

Cancellations 12 to 8 weeks before travel

Full loss of deposit PLUS 50% of remaining balance

Cancellations 8 to 4 weeks before travel

Full loss of deposit PLUS 75% of remaining balance

Cancellations 4 weeks or less before travel

Full loss of all monies paid

 

In order to cover yourself for any unforeseen circumstances which result in the cancellation of your trip Coachtrips SL advises the purchase of a cancellation insurance policy.

 

 

·         Please note, you are responsible for arriving at the correct pick up location which you chose at the time of booking and at the correct time for the coach leaving. If you are not at the designated pick up point at the correct time the coach will leave at its allocated time slot and no refund will be offered.

 

 

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Children of 18 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Specific seats onboard the coach cannot be guaranteed but can be requested at the time of booking for medical reasons only. Your allocated seat on the coach is yours for the entire duration of the tour, unless requested to move by your Coachtrips SL guide.
  • Coachtrips SL inform you that every effort will be made to cater for special conditions such as dietary requirements, medical conditions etc, which have been notified to us at the time of booking, but cannot always guarantee that these will be met during the Tour and accepts no liability for either the provision or non-provision of the above.
  • All our coaches are non-smoking and on longer tours sufficient comfort breaks will be provided to allow for smoking break, toilet stop etc
  • Animals are not allowed on our coaches.
  • Coachtrips SL reserve the right to deny boarding or to terminate someone’s journey at any point in the event of unreasonable behavior, foul language, intoxication, threatening or aggressive behavior towards other customers, our staff and drivers with full loss of all monies paid.
  • Any loss of documentation / event tickets once handed to you is your sole responsibility and we cannot accept any liability for denied entry / boarding due to loss of documentation. We will always endeavor to assist with the replacement, but this is not always possible owing to the timescale.
  • Please note, any personal belongings whilst on our tours are your responsibility and we are not liable for any losses, damage or theft.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you know the exact location for the collection of the coach and the time. We will endeavor to communicate this to you at least 2 days prior to the tour. If for any reason you have not received this information, please contact us and we will provide this information.
  • If your tour involves cross-country borders, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have all valid documentation such as passports / visas etc based on your nationality.
  • It is your responsibility to comply with the scheduled itinerary and timings of the tour throughout the duration and be at the designated pick-up points at the times set out by the tour guide. Please leave sufficient time to ensure you are at the correct point at the correct time considering all factors such as traffic congestion, the high volume of people owing to busy events and fiestas etc.  Coachtrips SL will not be held responsible for any expenses suffered by the customer who is missing from the collection point at the specified return time.
  • Coachtrips SL recommends the purchase of travel insurance for all tours, whether it be a short break in Benidorm or a cruise package. We can assist with the purchase of the policy and processes which arise however we take no responsibility for any costs incurred as a result of any medical emergency, loss, damages etc which arise from not having adequate travel insurance in place. In the event of a claim, we will provide any required paperwork, however the outcome of the claim is beyond our control.

 

If we cancel or amend your booking

  • We, Coachtrips SL, reserve the right to make amendments, such as pick up points or to the tour itinerary when necessary and we will communicate these changes in a timely manner where possible.
  • Coachtrips SL reserve the right to cancel a tour for reasons beyond our control such as lack of bookings, extreme weather conditions, changes or cancellation to event programs etc. Should this situation occur Coachtrips SL will refund 100% of the monies paid or offer credit towards future travel ( to be used within 1 year of the original date of travel ) , except in the case where concert / entry tickets are involved.  In this case we reserve the right to offer no refund of the ticket price where tickets are non-refundable from the suppliers.

Our responsibilities

  • If one of our customers should experience a medical emergency, personal issue or theft of personal belongings we will endeavour to assist where possible and provide support however we cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred or circumstances with which may result in early termination of your tour.
  • Coachtrips SL ensure that all care is taken when selecting destinations and suppliers for our tours, however we cannot be held responsible for any damage, loss, injury or the failure to provide an acceptable level of service.

Feedback & Comments

  • Coachtrips SL welcomes sincere and constructive feedback. We do request however that any issues which arise during a tour are highlighted to us immediately,  giving us the opportunity to resolve it to a satisfactory level.
