Tomatina fiesta & 3 day Valencia city break 29th - 31st Aug 2023

This is one of Spains wackiest and must-do fiestas. The tomato throwing is a great experience and not to be missed. 

Our trip includes a 3 day break in Valencia city, staying at the Hotel Senator Parque Central on a bed and breakfast basis. The hotel is centrally located and in easy reach of all main attractions, shops, restaurants etc..

and on the 2nd day we will take you to the town of Buñol where the fiesta is celebrated. 

The Tomatina started back in 1946 during a parade of Giants.  some local youths decided to take part in it and some of the group got angry and caused a scene.  A heated discussion started right next to a vegetable stand which then resulted in tomatoes being tossed around until the local police ended the ¨conflict ¨. The following year the same scenario happened until it became a yearly event and has since grown into  the amazing, world-famous event it is today. Literally attracting thousands every year the atmosphere in the small town of Buñol is incredible. the tomato throwing itself only lasts approx an hour but the lead up to it is soooo much fun. 

This is a trip to try at least once and we will make it as fun as possible !!!!

There are a list of do´s and don´ts suchas it is advisable to wear white clothing so you get as messy as possible, wear swimming goggles so as to av id tomato juice in your eyes etc but we will make sure you are fully aware of what to expect and what to bring.
